I felt like taking a break from poker yesterday. A friend came over and we talked some poker, so I sat in on a table while we talked and played a few hands.
AA in the Cut Off: I managed to pick up two aces in my short session. The fellow re-raising pre-flop is a capable player so I decide to just call. This isn't something I do often with aces, but at this level against good players I am starting to add some deception pre-flop.
I have some more non-poker related activities planned for today, but I think I will play a few hands before I go to bed tonight. Already I feel the break is doing me good though, as my mind slowly gets clear of all the bad beats and big wins of the past week.
